Perranporth Rugby is very proud of these three! India, Bryher & Josie for pulling on a county shirt today for the girls under 15s.
Josie came through all our age groups but had to move on when we have the RFU gender split at u12. She now plays for Camborne but is still a rugby leader at Perran. India & Bryher are founding members of our girls, The Sirens. We had enough of having to say goodbye to our girls at u12, having to go to other clubs to continue their rugby. So Michael Jeffs took up the Batton and The Sirens were formed for ladies & girls.
It is inspiring to see.
We also have Hannah who represents us at county in the u18s girls.
Girls & Ladies Be inspired, release your innerwarrior
All Girls from school year 7 & up, plus any ladies are welcome to come and give rugby a go at Perranporth. Tuesdays 6 to 7pm.
