Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th June 2018 saw another successful and well attended Nat West Rugby Force weekend at the club.
Each team from our Micros to the senior first team were allocated a task and good progress was made on ALL. Throughout the weekend members came and went, attending when they were able, to give an hour, two or more giving the club and pitch a spruce up before the start of the season in September.
Our club room was spring cleaned, changing rooms painted, the outside power washed windows cleaned. The woodwork on the veranda was painted, the posts taken down sanded and re painted. Pot holes in the car park were filled and our storage container was cleared out, shelving fitted and re stacked. Our large Rhino scrum machine was given a service and will soon be ready for sale as it no longer gets much use! So hopefully when sold we will use the funds to buy equipment that all the teams can use.
The Club thanks Nat West for sponsoring this weekend and thanks its members young and older for giving thier time and effort.
We still have bits & pieces we would like to complete before September so there will be 'flash' work parties on the occassional day/ evening in the spirit of the Rugby Force weekend.
