On Sunday 15th April Perranporth U14s played away to Penryn U14s for the second time this season. The young Brewers went into this match as the underdogs having lost to Penryn early in the season.

Penryn being a physically bigger team opened the scoring within 20 seconds of kick off. From here you would think it was going to be a repeat of their first match in October. But we were to be proved wrong when within minutes Perranporth Captain Ben Jones opened the scoring for Perran for the first of his brace of tries. The first half ended quite close and was nip & tuck until the end, Perranporth going into the break only 2 points up.

The second half showed off the superior fitness of Perranporth and they ran in a further 6 tries to 1 against. This final domestic match of the season for our U14s was their finest hour. Everything clicked and the score line is testiment to this. Penryn 33 - 58 Perranporth.

Try Scorers: Ben Jones, Jack Sullivan, Jackson McBlain, Will Blatchford, Aidan DeBeer, Patrick Gill
