Our final youth awards and presentations took place at the clubhouse on Saturday 19th May for our under 15s team. The. event was well attended by players and parents who were able to enjoy coach, Paul Critchleys, critique of each player on how well they had performed and improved through the season. Each player was called forward to receive a gift as a slide show of pictures taken during their matches was shown.
Corey Harris received the U15 shield for player of the year, most improved player went to Will Roberts & Team Player awards to Jamie Hosking & Trey Penrose. The coaches’ awards was taken jointly by Joel Critchley & Jack McDonnell this highlighted that the pair had been selected to play for Cornwall U15s earlier in the season.
The team saw some new players join during the season which helped strengthen the side. As a club we hope their success continues as they enter U16s rugby in September.
